The Payne Gallery at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA is pleased to lend it’s walls as a satellite space to Tiger Strikes Asteroid in Philadelphia as they launch the new academic year. The exhibition concept by Shamus Matthews and Emily Strong is a survey of current work by Tiger Strikes Asteroid Philadelphia members – artists who have helped foster connections between the Philadelphia art scene and the larger global art community. The exhibit, curated by TSA Philadelphia Assistant Director Todd Baldwin, demonstrates the complex range of approaches, themes, and materials used by this active community of creatives. On display September 3 through October 4, 2015.
