Please join us for our January exhibition, Ricky Yanas: Work Related.

Ricky Yanas’s photographs, collages, and installations explore historical representation and the politics of image making. He utilizes a variety of archival materials and photographic methods in an attempt to recover and revive attitudes of political resistance from the early and mid-twentieth century.

Yanas was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He received an MFA in Photography from The University of Texas in 2011. Yanas relocated to Philadelphia, where he now lives and works, in August of 2014. This is his first exhibition in the City of Brotherly Love.
